Our project this week was to put a window in the shed. It gets really hot in summer and we needed a cross breeze so we can work in there without expiring.
It all went very well and we had the window in within half an hour. That's why there are no photo's, didn't have time! But here is one of the finished product. It's made the shed a lot lighter too, all the better for working in. I will be able to finish that table on the bench that you can see, which has been waiting for me for a very long time.

We have to have curtains for the window because it opens up to the street. We didn't want to spend too much on them as it 'is' the shed! So we just used some old drop sheets that used to be curtains. So they have been reborn again.
This weekend we have had the pleasure of lots of visitors. Bianca and Ryan have been visiting and Ryan's boys were here for a couple of days to visit him. Also, Bockarie (JB) was here visiting Georgia with his two children. It was really nice having a house full of people. Hasn't been like that for a long time.

This week also saw Kym start a new job with Police and Nurses Credit Society. She's very excited and is determined to keep this one!!
