Port Arthur...Remarkable!

Day 26

Today we went to the Port Arthur Historic Site. We took about a hundred photos I've just picked a few.

The Penitentiary
Isle of the Dead. About 1000 people are buried on this island. Don't know where they put them all.
Not sure if they're rebuilding this or just trying to save what is left.
Stephen listening to the audio guide.
The Guard Tower
A typical cell. Believe me it wasn't very big!
Church which was built to hold about 1200 people. They didn't mind squeezing up, obviously!
We spent most of the day here and found it very interesting.

We went back to the motel for a bit of a rest and then decided to drive out to Remarkable Cave because there is a virtual cache there.
