Day 9
We drove from Bronte Park to Strahan. The photo above is of the Crotty Conservation Area, Lake Burbury not far from Queenstown.
Steve signing a log book. We only did 3 caches today. This photo was taken at a lookout that nearly killed us getting to. It was a very steep climb!!
This is the site of our last cache and our favourite so far. It is what started out to be a gold mine but the shaft only goes for about 100 metres and then they gave up on it. We didn't go any further than this because the floor was full of water and those rocks rocked.
The green you can see is copper. Stephen picked up a couple of rocks and we're pretty sure they have gold in them.

Hey I collect rocks and don't have any with gold in them...hint hint!
