....More on the Reno

Before we started making too much mess we laid cardboard and drop sheets down the hall to try and save the carpet and it has worked really well.

But we didn't have any down when glueing some of the pipes together and a full pot of that green plumbers glue was knocked over and onto the carpet. All hell broke loose while we tried frantically to clean it off before it set and believe it or not we did a pretty good job. There is still a mark there but it's not green and it's not hard. Will give it another clean when we've finished.

Then after finishing the main floor Steve started on the shower recess

 So many tiles....

....so much dust!!

   It is everywhere...all through the house. I've given up on trying to clean it up and will wait till the job is dust free.

We have been going for over 2 weeks now and still got a way to go. We chose very neutral colours for the tiles so hopefully they won't go out of date too fast. But, I was watching The Block last night and they said brown was 'so not in' oh well it's 'in' at our place!!
